The Australian Cord Blood Bank Foundation

The Sydney Cord Blood Bank is funded by the Commonwealth and State Governments to provide a service for Australian patients. Cord blood banking and the use of cord blood for treatment are evolving all the time, more research and development need to be undertaken if the Bank is to maintain the highest quality of cord blood production. Additional funding is provided by philanthropic individuals and charitable organisations.

The Australian Cord Blood Bank Foundation is an associated charitable body dedicated to propagation of cord blood donation and to raising funds for research in cord blood banking and cord blood cell research. It has provided the Sydney Cord Blood Bank with equipment, staff and building infrastructure for research purposes. Donations are tax deductible.
