Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick is a specialist facility for children's health, a paediatric teaching centre and the hub of a network of professionals caring for children throughout Sydney and New South Wales. Volunteers
Volunteers are an integral part of Hospital life. The Sydney Children's Hospital have over 140 volunteers who assist in many areas including Play Therapy, Clerical, Cafe, Starlight, Ward Helpers, Ward Grannies and in the School. The hospitals Volunteers help relieve the pressure on staff by keeping the patients entertained with crafts, books or just a chat. Our volunteers loyalty and dedication is inspiring, and many of our volunteers have over 20 years of service with the Hospital. We are very lucky to have such devoted helpers.
