Network Projects


Since 2001, the Child Health Networks have received population-based biennial allocations of funds from NSW Health to develop projects that enhance networking in child health.

In the current funding cycle, GESCHN is participating in 7 state-wide projects and 2 local LHD projects:

Statewide Projects

  • Resus4Kids
  • Statewide Child Health Netowrk (CHN) Allied Health Education and Clinical Support
  • Professional Development via Telehealth Modalities for Providers of Child Health Services in NSW (Telehealth program)
  • Statewide Paediatric Education and training in recognition and management of the sick and deteriorating child - phase 1
  • Neonatal Resuscitation
  • Supporting the Sustainability NSW Health Acute Paediatric Guidelines
  • SkIP-Skills in Paediatrics
