Pancake Day 2000

The very generous staff of Pancakes at the Rocks will again be donating their time, pancakes and delicious toppings at the 12th Annual Pancake Day to help raise much needed funds to benefit the Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick.

Already becoming a well-known Sydney event, Pancake Day will take place on Tuesday, 7 March 2000 at Martin Place, (between Pitt and George Streets) from 7.00am until 3.00pm - with enough pancakes for even the heartiest of eaters!

Sydneysiders taking part in Pancake Day will be happy to know that the funds raised from this event will go directly towards helping the brave young patients at the Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick - now and in the future.

Professor Les White, Executive Director of Sydney Children's Hospital says, 'The funds raised from Pancake Day will contribute greatly to purchasing state-of-the art, life saving medical equipment. The community can help make a difference to the lives of children we treat every day by becoming involved in events such as this.'

The Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick is an internationally recognised centre of excellence for child health with a full range of specialist services treating children from all over NSW and Australia with many conditions including cancer, trauma, HIV/AIDS, congenital abnormalities, heart disease and respiratory disorders.
