Scots College presents a Charity concert for Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick

The Scots College, Sydney will present a music concert on the Friday 19th June 1998 to raise money for Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation to purchase an urgently needed Oxygen Humidifier.

The evening will be compered by Bruce Menzies (former ABC announcer), with entertainment consisting of a performance by the world renowned Scottish Pipes and Drums, the 80-strong College Orchestra, the Chapel Choir (of 40 boys from 8-18yrs) and the Big Band.

Rob Gibson, concert organiser said, 'The Scots College decided to help Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick because it is very important for our boys to give as much back to the community as they possibly can. The Music Department has put a great amount of time and effort into preparing for this performance so they can make a difference to the lives of sick children and their families.'

The Music department at The Scots College has an enviable reputation for their many soloists who are Music Scholarship holders, and their various musical groups including the String Orchestra and the Chapel Choir.

The Scots College aims to provide an exciting and stimulating environment where students are encouraged to develop their abilities, and strive for excellence.
