On Thursday 22 March, Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation Arts Committee will host the launch of Platinum Collection One, the first in a collection of superb portfolios featuring limited edition prints from five highly regarded Australian artists.

Fifty numbered portfolios featuring prints by Robert Dickerson, Peter Kingston, Margaret Woodward, Graham Kuo and Alun Leach-Jones and will be sold for $5,500 (incl. The Arts Program is dedicated to bringing the colour, comfort and inspiration of art to our young brave patients, their families, staff and visitors.

The funds raised through the sale of the Platinum Collection One will go towards commissioning new artworks such as murals and interactive video art, projects such as 'artists in residency' and research into the advancing area of arts in healthcare.

Justin Miller of Sothebys will auction one set of framed prints on the night to 200 special guests including the arts industry, art patrons, Hospital supporters and staff.

'Platinum Collection One provides the discerning art collector with an opportunity to purchase fine Australian prints and also make a tremendous difference in the wellbeing of seriously ill children. The opportunity to invest in this special collection means buyers will be investing in the happiness of sick patients,' said Elizabeth Crundall, Chief Executive of Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation.
