The Macquarie Group, Principal Supporter of Gold Dinner 2008
The Macquarie Group has agreed to be the principal supporter of the Gold Dinner, the annual signature fundraising event for the Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
The Gold Dinner is the pinnacle fundraising dinner in Australia, with over $12.5 million net profit raised for the Hospital over the past 10 years. Funds raised from the Gold Dinner have a major impact on the lives of tens of thousands of seriously ill children treated at the Hospital. This year’s 11th Gold Dinner held on 5 June will provide vital funding for the Digestive Tract Diseases Unit.
The Gold Dinner is managed and organised by the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Gold Dinner Committee with the support of generous gold table patrons and their guests, prize donors, production crew and volunteers. New members on this year’s Gold Dinner committee include Sarah Murdoch and Di Ipkendanz.
