To provide a coordinated multidisciplinary service to children with amputations and congenital limb deficiencies. |
| Description: |
A multidisciplinary clinic is held on the third Wednesday of the month with Genetic, Plastic Surgery, Orthopaedic, Rehabilitation, Prosthetic, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Social Work services provided. A smaller lower limb prosthetic clinic is held on the first Wednesday of the month. Consultative service to inpatients as needed.
The clinic has transitional care arrangements with adult rehabilitation services at Prince of Wales Hospital. |
