| Function: |
This Statewide service provides multidisciplinary consultation in the management of movement disorders in Cerebral Palsy patients. Children and their families can be seen by a rehabilitation doctor, orthopaedic surgeon and allied health staff in a co-ordinated service. Comprehensive assessment of the child may take place over several days and be co-ordinated with other medical appointments, if possible. Referrals to be made to the Rehabilitation Department.

| Description: |
A multidisciplinary clinic is held once a month with Orthopaedic, Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Orthotic services provided. This is a consultative service to assist in the management of cerebral palsy. The service is provided in conjunction with the Spastic Centre of NSW in order to facilitate an integrated management plan. Coordination of the clinic is provided through the Spastic Centre of NSW. |
