| Description: |
The department consists of Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists. These are trained in assessment, diagnosis and therapeutic intervention for children with cognitive, behavioural and/or emotional difficulties. The Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists work in various multi-disciplinary teams within the hospital including the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program, Centre for Children with Cancer and Blood Disorders, Learning Difficulties Clinic, Muscle Diseases Clinic, Pain Clinic, Endocrinology and Neurology. We offer psychological intervention in the form of psychometric assessment and behavioural management. The psychologists at the hospital are also involved in research projects. |
